Block of flats, Downend, Bristol - This block of 15 privately owned flats in Bristol were refurbished direct for their in house management company. Our works consisted of preparing the existing felt roof surface prior to installing rigid polyurethane insulation to reduce heat loss in the winter and reduce heat gain in the summer followed by the application of a Rubberbond Fleeceback EPDM single-ply membrane backed by a 20-year warranty.
Oak Tree School, Swindon, Wiltshire - This work was carried out as part of major building alterations through a construction company. Our works consisted of the part renewal of existing roof covering and decking prior to the installation of Rubberbond Fleecback EPDM single-ply membrane. New perimeter edge trims were manufactured to match the school colours and the surrounding buildings. As part of our works here AquaGard Roofing Solutions also installed new pitched steel roof coverings also.
Office Block, Bristol - Our works comprised the complete removal of existing built up felt roof coverings and saturated insulation back to the existing corrugated steel decking. A Marley 600 felt system was then installed comprising of a metal lined vapour control layer, rigid polyurethane insulation, venting membrane, high performance underlay and mineral surfaced cap sheet all bonded in hot bitumen. New colour coated steel cappings were installed to roof perimeters.
Factory, Gloucester - This large flat roof area had in the past received various waterproofing treatments all of which failed sooner than expected. Our works consisted of the installation of Fleeceback EPDM single-ply membrane fully bonded over the existing roof surface. Works were complicated by the large amount of on-site detailing necessary around roof mounted plant and equipment.
Retail unit, Bridgend, South Wales - An existing asphalt roof covering beginning to show signs of deterioration with areas of splits visible and upstands slumping. Our works consisted of the preparation of the existing asphalt surface prior to the installation of Rubberbond Fleeceback EPDM single-ply membrane.
